Project Pumpkin.. err.. Horse Trailer..

Pictures!  As promised…  We started this the 1st week of October, so it’s been a several week-end project, but it is pretty much done…

Pre- power washing… ick… look at all that filth, mildew, and chipped paint…

And then, post-power washing… nice and clean.  Still yucky looking, but at least it’s clean yuck..

My husband with the weapon of the day… the pressure hose.  LOL.  My hero 🙂

He spent 2 hours cleaning inside and out.  Took out all of the loose paint.

Halfway done with painting the inside.

Inside completely re-painted in white.  Nice and clean.

I tackled the inside, while my husband did the outside.

….Rollin, rollin, rollin.

Lots of rolllin.

And we ended up with something like this:

And, adding the black trim..

And then, completed black trim and added the start of the graphics:

And of course, it even got the new tires a few months ago back when I had the blow out, and as part of the makeover, we got new hub cabs for the wheels to match my hubby’s truck…

And then I completed the inside with orange padding on the chest & butt bars and center divider.

It is still not toally done.  Still have some graphics that need to be applied, and I’ve got wheel covers coming for all the tires and the spare, and I’ll be adding a horse- graphic to the spare tire cover, too.  I need to get pictures of the back of the trailer, but it’s backed up against a fence right now and I can’t get a good angle.  So soon I’ll have my husband pull it out with his truck and get pictures of the whole ensemble.

What do you think?!

🙂

In other news, we got the boys out for a drive on Saturday and they were beyond awesome. I am so lucky, I really am.  I also got them to do their “Spanish paw” on video, and I’ll post that when I have a chance.  And I have the appointment with the oncologist on Wednesday, so wish me luck.

Have a good one!
